TSS Franchisor Culture: It all starts at the Top with TSS

“We only succeed, when you succeed” is a motto often said by TSS Photography Franchise President, Jack Counts Jr. And he means it! In order for TSS to continue moving forward we put a lot of training, support, energy, and focus into our owners. Let’s explore a bit of background on TSS and how our corporate culture supports our franchise owners.

TSS has been a franchisor for 40 years!

This year marks TSS Photography’s 40th anniversary. A company can only stay in business this long by having a pretty solid business this long by having a pretty solid business model and the forward outlook to grow and move within the industry they are operating. A good majority of our franchisees have stayed with us too! Collectively, our current owners have been in business for an average of 13 years. And 27% of our owners have been in business for 20+ years. This is a franchise where people join and stay!

Our training and support

New potential owners are invited to our corporate office for a Meet the Team Day. There, they get their first opportunity to meet support team members face-to-face and learn more about our software solutions that have put us on the volume photography map. Annual summer conferences are held each July in a new and exciting location. There are multiple winter meeting opportunities either at the corporate office or paired with industry trade shows.

Why do we have these face-to-face opportunities with corporate support staff and other franchisees? Because sharing ideas is a CORE Value that we make a priority. We can only get better if we open our lines of communication. You are not alone in your business when you join TSS>

Rewarding top performers

Each year TSS awards our top performers with entry into our President’s Club. Being selected into the club is the highest level of achievement within the TSS Photography organization and the most prestigious annual award. Last year we welcomed 24 owners to the club, making them the largest group ever inducted.

These owners are awarded an all-expenses-paid vacation to somewhere tropical during the cold weather season. And while a nice trip is always great, additionally they are part of monthly meetings with top TSS execs. During these meetings they get the chance to voice their opinions, talk about new ideas, and share in discussions about the business with others.
